Creating an extension

To create a new extension:

1. Go to Nebry UC, and from the left-hand side of the portal, click on "Extensions".
2. Once on the "Extensions" screen, click on "Create Extension".
3. In the "Create Extension" modal, enter the details:
   1. Extension Name: A name for the extension (i.e., Jon Doe, Boardroom, etc.).
      1. Name can be edited once the extension is created.
         
         
   2. Extension Number: A number associated with the extension (i.e., 1001, 5110, etc.).
      1. Number must be unique.
      2. Number must be between 3 and 5 digits.
      3. Number can be changed once the extension is created.
         
         
   3. Outgoing Extension Flow: Select a flow you wish to associate with the extension.
      1. Flow must be created beforehand.
      2. Flow can be changed once the extension is created.
         
         
   4. Assign User to Extension (Optional): Assign an account user with the extension.
      1. This is optional.
      2. Extensions without users are considered 'standalone'.
      3. User can be added, changed or removed once the extension is created.
         
         
   5. Numbering Plan: Select a plan based on the location from which the extension will be used.
      1. This is used so users in the location can use the local dialing convention.
      2. If a numbering plan is not available for your desired location, contact support.
      3. The numbering plan can be changed once the extension is created.
         
         
4. Click on "Create Extension" once ready.
