Create a call group

To create a new call group:

  1. Go to Nebry UC, and from the left-hand side of the portal, click on "Call Groups".
  2. Once on the "Call Groups" screen, click on "Create Call Group".
  3. In the "Create Call Group" modal, enter the details you need for the new call group.
    1. Name: A name for the call group (i.e. Accounts, Reception, etc.).
      1. Name can be edited once a call group is created.

    2. Extensions: Add the extensions that you want to be associated with the call group.
      1. Additional extensions can be added later on.
      2. Extensions can also be removed.

    3. Call Group Settings: Choose the call distribution method and timeout for the call group.
      1. Call Distribution:
        1. Ring all extensions at once: All extensions in the call group will ring at the same time for the duration specified in the ring time timeout.

        2. Ring one extension or group at a time.
          1. Ring extensions in a random order, one at a time: The extensions will ring in a random order, one after the other, with each extension ringing for the duration specified in the ring time timeout.

          2. Custom: The extensions will ring in order according to the priority specified in the custom field; each priority group will ring for the duration specified in the ring time timeout. More information about custom call distribution can be found here.

      2. Ring time timeout: Enter the time in seconds between 5 and 120 seconds that you wish to set for the call group. The timeout behavior is different depending on the call distribution method selected.
        1. Ring all extensions at once: The timeout is set globally for all extensions, meaning that the extensions will all ring for the specified time. Once the time elapses, the group will stop ringing and the call will proceed according to the flow.

        2. Ring one extension or group at a time: The timeout is set for each extension or priority group, meaning that the extension or priority group will ring for the specified time, one after the other.
