Phones: How to transfer calls on Snom D140/D150

You can transfer a call to another party. 


If you talk to the transfer recipient before completing the transfer, you are making an 'announced' transfer.

 

If you do not talk to the transfer recipient before transferring the call, you are making a 'blind' transfer.


To transfer a call (Announced/Attended/Warm/Supervised)


  1. During a call, press the 'Transfer' button.

  2. Once you press transfer, you will be directed to the transfer screen, and the first call is automatically put on hold.

  3. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call and press 'Attended'.

  4. When the second caller answers, you can talk to the caller to notify them of the transfer, then press 'Transfer' to transfer the call.


    1. If you wish to go back to the first caller, press the button next to the 'first line' in the example the first line is 'David Do', the second call will be put on hold.

  5.  Once you press 'Transfer', the call is automatically transferred.


To transfer a call (Blind/Cold)


  1. During a call, press the 'Transfer' button.

  2. Once you press transfer, you will be directed to the transfer screen, and the first call is automatically put on hold.

  3. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call. Press 'Safe Transfer' to transfer the call.
  4. Once you press 'Safe Transfer', the call will be put on hold for a brief period and then it is automatically transferred.
